Writing 201: Poetry (Day 3: Acrostic)

Well, it’s been a hectic day. The hubby flew home and will be gone for a month. So. Yours truly suspended homeschool for today. But. Today’s poetry prompt was such a challenge, I couldn’t resist thinking about it all day even though there wasn’t any time to look through other bloggers’ creations via The Commons. Here is a clumsy attempt (my very first!) at an acrostic on the subject of trust using internal rhyme:

Turn from you, I do
Regret not holding on. Forget
Us. Your cheating charm. Now I drown – welcome
Sorrow – while blaring music blasts
Through meteor showers dancing in the night.
